Bot Description

CaDi Bot – Band Bot for Casual Dilemma Sync

This is a private, single-purpose bot that automatically synchronizes a band’s calendar with Discord Server Events on this server. It creates, updates, and removes Discord Events to match the source calendar, so members always see up-to-date rehearsal and show dates directly in Discord.

This bot is not public and is not intended for use on other servers. It performs a single, narrowly scoped function and is not designed to be added or reused elsewhere.

What it does:

Reads calendar entries (event title, date/time, location) from the connected band calendar
Creates and updates corresponding Discord Server Events on this server
Removes Discord Events when they are removed from the source calendar

What it does not do:

Does not read, log, or store chat messages
Does not read message history
Does not collect data on individual members’ activity
Is not used on any server other than this one

This privacy policy applies to the private Discord bot “CaDi Bot” (“the Bot”), operated solely for use on this Discord server (“CASUAL DILEMMA”) by [Ottenknecht-] (“the Operator”).

1. Scope

This Bot is private and not publicly listed or available for addition to other servers. It is used exclusively to manage this Server’s band calendar.

2. What Data the Bot Processes

The Bot processes only the following data:

Calendar data: event names, dates, times, and locations from the connected band calendar source
Discord Event data: the corresponding Discord Server Events created, updated, or deleted on this Server as a result of calendar synchronization

3. What the Bot Does Not Do

The Bot does not read or store chat messages
The Bot does not collect or store data about individual members (usernames, IDs, activity, message content, voice activity, etc.)
The Bot does not use message content intents or any monitoring features beyond what is required to create/update/delete Server Events

4. Data Storage

Calendar and event data is processed only to keep Discord Events in sync with the source calendar. No additional member data is stored. No data is shared with third parties. The Bot operates solely between the calendar source and this Discord Server.

Data reflects the current state of the calendar. When an event is removed from the calendar, the corresponding Discord Event is removed as well; no historical record is retained beyond that.
